Dr.P.Ramanujan is an outstanding Scholar who can transition with ease between Vedanta and Modern Science. A graduate in Computer Science from Indian institute of Science, Dr.Ramanujan studied Sanskrit traditionally under his father Ganapati Parankushachar. His scholarship in both Sanskrit and Computer Science led him to take up a position in Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) at Bangalore. Dr.Ramanujan established the Indian Heritage & Language Computing group at C-DAC and remained its Head till he demitted office as Associate Director in 2018. He thereafter established Parankushachar Institute of Vedic Studies in Bangalore and continues to serve as its Director contributing to original research into our heritage scriptures.
